Warehouse Operations Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements. This will involve overseeing the day-to-day activities of the warehouse team and implementing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced 3PL warehouse professional to manage our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supervising staff within a Customs and Biosecurity controlled facility.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage all warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of new processes and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and control stock movements within the warehouse, ensuring that bottlenecks are not created.
  • Implement risk management procedures to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and control expenses related to warehouse operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a 3PL warehouse environment.
  • Experience using CargoWise or other WMS knowledge.
  • Proven ability to supervise staff within a Customs and Biosecurity controlled facility.
  • Forklift licence with recent operational experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations and management.
  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
