Overview

Procurement Management & Contract Administrator role at East Metropolitan Health Service. This is a fixed term full-time appointment at 76 hours per fortnight for 2 years contract, with possibility of extension(s).

Eligibility to Apply

To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Other Conditions

WA Health engages staff in positions of trust and responsibility. WA Health policies require applicants to undertake a criminal records screening and integrity checking as part of the appointment process. You may also be required to undertake a working with children check (if required for the role) and a pre-employment health assessment. Referees may be asked to comment on integrity and past ethical behaviour. Adverse information will be considered as part of the appointment process.

While this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other similar vacancies within the health service. If the successful applicant declines or vacates the advertised vacancy, the next most suitable applicant may be selected from this process. These options remain valid for 12 months from the date the recruitment decision is endorsed.

Position Profile

The Procurement Management and Contract Administrator undertakes procurement and contract administration for the Bentley Health Service Surgicentre project, facilitates and/or manages end-to-end procurement processes for low to medium value and low to medium/high risk repairs and maintenance, minor works, and capital works, in compliance with WA Procurement Rules and Procurement Act 2020, DoH Procurement and Contract Management Policies, EMHS Procurement and Contract Management Policies and EMHS Delegations and Authorisation Schedules as updated from time to time.
