**Purchasing/Contract Specialist Officer**

ChoiceOne are seeking a Purchasing/Contract Specialist Officer for one of our well established Engineering client based in Canning Vale, for a Full-time 4-8 week project. This would be the perfect position for someone who is a Contractor, looking to pick up more work. $40-$55 an hour, depending on experience.

**Your primary focus in this role is to;**
- Conduct an extensive Review of all current supply agreements to ensure value for money is being achieved with current client suppliers
- Develop, implement, and manages service level agreements for the procurement of goods, services, and leases.
- Deal with local and interstate suppliers
- Present findings to Senior Management on outcomes and findings
- Planning for the purchase of equipment, services and supplies
- Manage a combination of long and short lead items required for a project order, ensuring all Items are available
- Develop, implement and manage quantity surveying/monitoring/quality assurance function
- Develop and implement robust and effective processes, procedures, and systems to improve on procurement efficiency over existing processes.
- Negotiating pricing of quotes and setups of new contracts with suppliers
- Proactively manage Project Team relationship with suppliers through formal and informal processes and communications.

**Essential Criteria**:

- 3-4 Years minimum as a Purchasing/Procurement/Contract Specialist
- PRONTO Experience
- Well Organised and excellent Time management, with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Exceptional Negotiation skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of Risk management and the Local/Interstate Market
