We have exciting opportunities for Demi Chefs to join our creative culinary brigade and fast track their professional culinary career Come and join our hotels in a journey of making travel more human, connected, and sustainable. Here, everyone's role matters, and your individuality is celebrated.

The Role

• Ensure that all dishes from the section are prepared consistently and according to standard recipes
• Rotate in any section of the kitchen when necessary or as requested by the Chef de Cuisine or senior members of the kitchen brigade
• Ensure that kitchen and operating equipment is maintained to a good standard
• Organize and set up the assigned section of the kitchen as effectively as possible to increase speed and maximize productivity.
• Maintain a hygienic and clean work environment to HACCP standards
• To work with the other departments in the hotel and deliver exceptional guest experiences
  
  

The Person

• Cert III or higher in Commercial Cookery and A la carte experience
• Previous experience in a 5 star hotel environment preferred
• Availability to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, evenings weekends & public holidays
• Strong verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Naturally curious and driven, willing to try new thing and ready to grow their professional career to the next level
