Description
Lead the implementation of major technology software projects for the Central Coast Council's Digital Transformation Program - Rewrite the Future as the new Section Manager Digital Transformation.

- Ensure adherence to IT industry standards and promote effective collaboration across various departments.
- Engage with key stakeholders and third-party vendors to drive successful project outcomes.
The Section Manager Digital Transformation will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and is responsible for leading and managing the execution of significant technology software projects within the Council's Digital Transformation Program. This position involves collaborating with the Information and Technology team, third-party vendors, and essential stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
You will be part of building and guiding a team of professionals in implementing a new enterprise software solution for Council. Your leadership will be critical in ensuring quality assurance and adherence to project management methodologies. This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Will Have
- Degree qualifications in information technology, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or substantial relevant experience.
- Proven success in leading teams focused on quality outcomes and customer satisfaction.
- Extensive experience in the Local Government application space.
- Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Other Important Information
- A competitive total remuneration salary package will be provided for this role plus a leaseback vehicle or vehicle allowance valued at $207.31 per week
- We have a temporary full-time role available for up to 4 years
- This role will be able to access a 19 day month
- We are able to offer hybrid and flexible working conditions for this role
- This role is located at the Wyong Administration Building
