The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workshop Manager / Estimator to work closely with customers to detail and quote opportunities while also leading our day-to-day workshop operations. This is a pivotal role responsible for Business Growth while also ensuring workshop production efficiency, safety compliance, and quality standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Work closely with customers on all Business Development opportunities
On-site measuring and quoting of new opportunities
Manage daily workshop operations
Lead and supervise tradespeople and assistants to ensure safe and efficient work practices.
Ensure customer orders are fulfilled on time and to specification.
Commitment to OH&S standards and practices.
Skills & Experience
Strong technical and operational knowledge in Sheet Metal fabrication
Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Advanced planning skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and reports.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in Sheet Metal fabrication, assembly, and construction
Previous management experience in trade sector
