Busy Bees at Moreton Bay is seeking a 2IC Service Manager to support our Centre Director and lead our dynamic team in delivering exceptional education and care.

About the Role:

As our 2IC Service Manager, you will:

  • Support the Centre Director in daily operations, compliance, and team leadership
  • Step into the Director's role when required and lead confidently from the floor
  • Mentor and guide educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF
  • Build strong partnerships with children, families, and your team
  • Help ensure the service consistently meets all National Quality Standards (NQS)
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and positive workplace culture
What You'll Bring:
  • Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved)
  • Previous experience as a Lead Educator or Assistant Centre Director
  • In-depth knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and regulatory compliance
  • Current Working With Children Check (QLD)
  • Valid First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012)
  • Child Protection/Mandatory Reporting training
  • Strong leadership, time management, and communication skills
  • Full Australian working rights
