Operations Manager

As an Operations Manager at HelloRide, you will be essential to our local operations, supporting strategic initiatives and daily activities that ensure a seamless experience for riders. This role involves working across multiple operational areas, including project management, data analysis, and safety compliance, to drive efficiency and quality.

• Operational Management & Efficiency
  • Lead and execute key projects aimed at optimising city operations, ensuring adherence to HelloRide's high standards for safety and performance.
  • Monitor and analyse operational metrics, contributing data-driven insights to enhance fleet availability, deployment efficiency, and service reliability.
  • Work closely with management to ensure all team members adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and continuously improve processes.
  • Lead the end-to-end NSW operations, managing staff to ensure our fleet is consistently maintained, fully compliant with local regulations, and delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality service to the community.
• Stakeholder Engagement
  • Act as the main point of contact between the local team and other departments, including product, customer support, and finance, to support coordinated efforts and address operational challenges.
  • Collaborate with councils and community stakeholders to maintain strong local partnerships and provide data as requested.
• Warehouse & Fleet Management
  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring optimal inventory management and equipment readiness.
  • Track and report on fleet performance metrics, ensuring the fleet is well-maintained and aligned with operational goals.
• Safety & Compliance
  • Promote a culture of safety by enforcing HelloRide's safety protocols and supporting initiatives like our Hello Hero Academy.
  • Address safety-related issues and collaborate on campaigns that promote responsible use of HelloRide services in the community.
• People & Project Management
  • Assist in recruiting, training, and onboarding new hires, ensuring team members are well-prepared and motivated.
  • Lead project initiatives focused on operational improvements, including restrictive parking and event operations, working with cross-functional teams to enhance service delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or project management, preferably within micromobility or a similar industry.
• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with tools like G Suite, Excel, Slack, and experience with scheduling and project management platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to optimising operations.
• A proactive team player with strong communication skills and an ability to collaborate across departments.
