Murfett Legal is a successful and innovative boutique law firm situated in East Perth (on the edge of the CBD). We offer a comprehensive range of legal services to our clients and regularly advise a broad range of industry sectors.

We are now seeking a senior commercial lawyer with experience across general commercial transactions, Wills & estate planning, tax, and trusts.

You will have the opportunity to be involved in a diverse range of work including corporate transactions, private business, joint ventures, insolvency, business restructuring, and succession, as well as general commercial contracting.

You will work with a range of clients (including start-ups) across sectors such as mining, engineering, technology, health, finance, Not For Profits, and individual directors of these businesses.

We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 7 years post-admission experience who has:

  1. Strong drafting, technical legal, and client management skills
  2. Strong self-motivation and high attention to detail
  3. A client-focused commercial approach and a collaborative attitude
  4. Solid experience in corporate and commercial law
  5. A strong understanding of the Corporations Act
  6. Proven experience in acting for both public and private companies
  7. A self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
