Responsibilities
  • Ensure a seamless and efficient operation of the Front Office on a day-to-day basis; be the face of our check-in and check-out experience, handling guest queries effortlessly.
  • Prepare arrival and departure reservations in the hotel PMS, note requests and loyalty status, and process payments for guest departures (posting payments, EFTPOS, and invoicing).
  • Keep public and back-of-house areas clean, well-maintained and well-presented.
  • Answer phones with a smile and coordinate guests\' needs such as restaurant bookings, transportation and hotel services.
  • Actively upsell and cross-sell hotel services and outlets.
  • Make coffee and prepare food within the hotel\'s lobby cafe, Allie Lane.
  • Be a local Melbourne expert and share knowledge on attractions, laneways, restaurants and bars.
  • Be on hand to assist in emergency situations when required.
Qualifications
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
  • A passion for hospitality and a desire to provide the best service for guests
  • Superior guest service skills with excellent service resolution abilities
  • Flexibility to work on a rotating 24/7 roster, including weekends and public holidays
  • Experience in a guest relations or front office role is advantageous
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
