Job details*Job Summary*We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership and customer service skills. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation, service, and overall guest satisfaction while managing a team of staff members.*Responsibilities** Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service* Manage food preparation and cooking processes to maintain high standards of food safety and quality* Supervise staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations* Handle cash management and POS transactions accurately* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in food handling and preparation* Foster a positive work environment through effective team management and leadership* Conduct interviews and hire new staff as needed to maintain optimal staffing levels* Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction* Collaborate with kitchen staff to create menu items that meet customer preferences and seasonal availability* Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary* experience with celiac dietary needs and cooking*Skills** Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry* Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards* Proficient in using POS systems* Excellent supervisory experience with a focus on team management and development* Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve conflicts effectively* Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial reporting* Strong leadership qualities with an emphasis on motivating staff towards success* Previous experience in hospitality settings such as hotels or cafes is preferred* Barista experience is a plus for establishments serving coffee or specialty beverages* To be able to create and execute celiac menu itemsJoin our team as we strive to provide an unforgettable dining experience for our guests while fostering a supportive environment for our employees.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $25.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekSchedule:* 8 hour shift* Monday to Friday* Weekends as neededApplication question(s):* Create and execute celiac menu itemsEducation:* AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)Language:* English (preferred)Work Location: In person
