Overview

We are seeking a Workshop Supervisor to join our growing team at iContracting Pty Ltd. This role reports to the Maintenance Superintendent and is responsible for supervising workshop HD fitters, servicemen, and subcontractors while on shift as required. Ensuring safe maintenance practices while meeting daily KPI targets, managing both planned and unplanned events. Conducting daily pre-start and toolbox meetings. Identifying and resolving maintenance-related issues with the project team. Maintaining high safety standards and leading by example to encourage safe work practices. Ensuring compliance with relevant codes and specifications and implement client requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise workshop HD fitters, servicemen, and subcontractors on shift as required.
  • Ensure safe maintenance practices and meet daily KPI targets; manage planned and unplanned events.
  • Conduct daily pre-start and toolbox meetings.
  • Identify and resolve maintenance-related issues with the project team.
  • Maintain high safety standards and lead by example to encourage safe work practices.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes and specifications and implement client requirements.
Qualifications
  • Supervisory experience in mining or bulk earthworks desirable.
  • Current step-up HD Fitter looking to move into a supervisory role.
  • Experience maintaining Caterpillar and Komatsu earthmoving equipment, including HD785-7 rigid dump trucks and CAT992K loaders.
  • Strong safety-focused approach to work.
  • Solid leadership and people management skills.
  • Effective communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor crews.
  • HR License - desirable.
  • White Card - essential.
  • Australian Working Rights - essential.
