Overview

Iona College is seeking an experienced Senior Mathematics Teacher to join our team. This is a full time, permanent position starting 2026.

About You

As a passionate educator, you bring enthusiasm, professionalism and a commitment to student development. This includes:

  • Demonstrated teaching experience in secondary mathematics
  • Proven ability to foster engaging, encouraging and inclusive classroom learning experiences that support academic performance and student wellbeing
  • Modelling, fostering and promoting excellence in teaching practices including interpreting student data for reporting
  • Experience in working collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching pedagogy
  • Building positive relationships with students, colleagues, parents and the wider Iona College community
  • Exemplary professional conduct
  • Commitment to supporting the values of Catholic education
  • Queensland Teachers Registration (QCT) or eligibility to apply
