Duties
  • Prepare, verify and/or process revenue, expenditure, corporate card and accounting transactions in accordance with Government and Departmental financial policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
  • Assist with the daily reconciliation of the Department's bank accounts, including the expenditure and collections accounts.
  • Provide financial support services to internal clients and liaise with external clients on financial matters, including the investigation and resolution of financial operation process and/or transactional queries.
  • Creation and maintenance of the creditor and debtor master files within the Financial Management Information System.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information through the application of appropriate internal control procedures.
  • Contribute to the ongoing review and improvement of existing financial operation business processes and practices.
  • Experience in the use of Financial Information Management Systems.
