Overview

Sir Stamford at Circular Quay is surrounded by the Royal Botanic Gardens, beautiful Sydney Harbour, the city skyline and located on Macquarie Street. The hotel features 105 guest rooms including 15 suites, a restaurant, a bar and 4 function rooms.

The hotel itself partly resides in a building dating back to the late 1800's that is listed with the National Heritage Register.

The Role

Sir Stamford at Circular Quay is currently recruiting dynamic and motivated Food & Beverage Attendants to work across all Hotel F&B Outlets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests
  • Ensure outlets are set prior to meal service, including table set up and clearance
  • Greet and serve guests in a prompt manner
  • Understand the menu, offer suggestions, and up-sell food and beverage items
  • Ensure correct pack down procedures are followed
  • Look after guest inquiries in a professional manner
  • Restock fridges to par levels, store and ensure the outlet is correctly stocked in accordance with outlet stock control guidelines

To be successful in this exciting role, the right candidate will have a bright, energetic attitude and most importantly - will love to have fun, in addition to:

  • Passionate about hospitality, food and wine
  • Immaculate presentation
  • A real go-getter, who can think on their feet
  • The flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including early mornings, late evenings and weekends
  • Current NSW Recognised Responsible Service of Alcohol is essential
  • Demonstrated experience as a Food and Beverage Attendant in a hotel environment
