For over 20 years the Lizard Centre has been a leader in Applied Behaviour Analysis and early intervention in Australia. We provide high-quality, evidence-based therapy for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other developmental conditions.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Behavioural Therapy Assistant to work with a family in Craigieburn across two weekly shifts.

Overview
  • Location: Craigieburn, Victoria
  • Shifts: Thursday 4:15pm–6:15pm and Friday 4:15pm–6:15pm
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 therapy to clients in varied settings, including home, clinic, and school
  • Support clients in developing skills in communication, social interactions and emotional regulation
  • Collect client data to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Foster a positive environment that encourages client participation
Skills & Experience
  • Studying or completed a degree/certificate in Psychology, Disability, Education, Occupational Therapy or related field (preferred)
  • Experience working with children is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A passion for helping individuals reach their full potential
Requirements
  • Working with Children Check & NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willing to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module - 'Quality, Safety and You'
  • Australian Driver's License & Vehicle
  • Laptop/iPad – you will be using your own device on shift
