Overview

Mount Isa Mines is advertising a Human Resources Manager vacancy based in Mount Isa, Queensland. This residential role reports into the Asset leadership and is an integral member of the Site Leadership Team. The HR Manager will shape and execute the human resources strategy to support operational goals, lead a team of HR professionals, and collaborate with site leadership to ensure effective HR practices that enhance workforce performance and foster a positive organizational culture.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the onsite HR team and act as a trusted HR advisor to the business.
  • Coach and support the leadership team on employee relations, training outcomes, and HR initiatives.
  • Contribute to events that support employees and local communities, such as Family Days.
  • Collaborate with site leadership to implement HR practices that improve workforce performance and culture.
  • Partner with the broader Glencore Metals Australia Regional Human Resources team.
