BDM / Sales Engineer - Civil Infrastructure

This is a full-time role located in the Greater Melbourne Area, with interstate travel required. The BDM / Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical expertise to support sales focusing on Civil Infrastructure projects and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide technical expertise to support sales in Civil Infrastructure projects.
  • Consult with clients to understand their specific needs, prepare and deliver product presentations, and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure the best solutions are provided.
  • Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals and post-sales support.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience in Business Development or Sales Engineering within the construction industry
  • Technical knowledge in construction products is desirable
  • Strong problem-solving and consultative selling skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
  • Experience in using CRM software and project management tools
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and site visits
  • Experience in the construction or mining industry is a plus
