Overview

Our upmarket, family-friendly restaurant and bar in the heart of North Adelaide is looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations, lead a passionate team, and ensure smooth service across dine-in, takeaway, and contactless delivery.

Your Role

As Restaurant Manager, you'll be the driving force of our front-of-house team, ensuring an outstanding experience for dine-in guests and online delivery customers. You'll work closely with chefs and ownership to refine the customer journey, maintain compliance, and lead a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service Leadership: Oversee all daily operations — ensuring exceptional service across dine-in, takeaway, and delivery.
  • Team Management: Hire, roster, train, and mentor staff to foster teamwork, accountability, and customer focus.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure guest satisfaction, resolve complaints professionally, and build strong community connections.
  • Menu Collaboration: Work with the kitchen team to shape offerings based on customer trends, feedback, and operational goals.
  • Health & Hygiene Compliance: Maintain strict hygiene standards and WHS compliance across all service areas.
  • Financial Control: Manage budgets, control costs, process daily transactions, and prepare financial reports.
  • Inventory & Supplier Management: Oversee ordering, manage supplier relationships, and track stock levels.
  • Marketing Support: Contribute to promotional activities and online strategies to promote multicultural dining, events, and delivery growth.
  • Quality Oversight: Ensure food and service quality are consistent, timely, and aligned with brand standards.
What You Bring
  • Relevant qualification in hospitality, business management, or a related field.
  • A minimum diploma-level qualification is required for this position.
  • At least 3 years' experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Previous experience in multicultural cuisine hospitality management is required.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure while driving team morale and results.
  • Solid understanding of restaurant financial operations, POS systems, and inventory control.
  • Passion for creating memorable guest experiences and nurturing team growth.
  • Familiarity with Indian cuisine, food culture, and marketing strategies is highly desirable, but not essential.
