Our client seeks a Warehouse Operator / Storeperson to join them in their facility in Northgate, QLD. This role has the potential to be ongoing for the right candidate

About The Company

The client is a leading manufacturing company, specialising in fittings for the resources sector

About The Role

  • Receive, handle and dispatch goods and products coming in and going out of the stockrooms, stores or warehouses
  • Support in the management of all warehouse operations

Key Skills & Attributes
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, interacting with many people such as suppliers, supervisors and employees, you must have good written and spoken English skills to keep the operations running smoothly
  • Have good attention to detail, working in a fast paced environment, always remain composed and focused on a variety of shipment, record and invoice details
  • The ability to problem solve and troubleshoot issues
  • Work to schedule requirements.
  • Have a professional attitude and sound and safe work ethic.
  • Forklift Licence is essential.
  • Proven experience working in a warehouse environment

Qualifications
  • Forklift License - Mandatory
  • High School Diploma or Higher
  • Cert II in Warehousing Operations or higher would be preferred,
  • C Class drivers licence

You will have the highest regard for safety in the workplace. You will be required to pass a medical including drug and alcohol testing, random drug and alcohol testing will also be carried out on site. You will need to have full Australian work rights to be considered for this role
