About The Role

The Warehouse Operator / Forklift Driver is a Full-time position, based at Hume, ACT. Reporting to the Branch Controller, you will be delivering exceptional customer service and attaining operational excellence within the warehouse.

In This Role, You Will
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all customers
  • Support daily warehouse operations, including stock placement, loading, and unloading
  • Operate a forklift for the best part of the role — valid forklift licence and experience required
  • Manage stock movements, including receiving inbound deliveries and loading customer orders for distribution, while complying with safety requirements
  • Accurately complete documentation and ensure proper labelling and presentation of stock
  • Perform data entry, respond to phone enquiries, and assist with online order processing when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse through regular general housekeeping tasks, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment

Your hours are Monday to Friday 7AM to 3PM.

About You
  • Current forklift license with sufficient experience is essential.
  • Computer literacy is desirable.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy products as required (manual handling involved).
  • A positive attitude and team-oriented mindset in a fast-paced environment.
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to safety procedures are essential.
  • Strong communication skills and listening skills, with the ability to build relationships
  • Contribute to a constructive and innovative workplace culture
