Overview

FT DC Warehouse Operator- Order Processing - WA at Fantastic Furniture. This full-time role is based in Welshpool, WA (with other WA locations referenced by job postings), focusing on order processing and distribution centre operations.

Responsibilities
  • Work in all departments within the Distribution Centre (inbound, outbound, HD) as required
  • Pick, pack and dispatch customer orders with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Unload and load containers and trucks manually and with MHE
  • Perform periodic stock checks
  • Complete pre-start MHE checklists
  • Maintain housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Operate electronic equipment such as RF scanners
  • Work within a team environment
  • Take direction from Team Leaders, Supervisors and DC management
About You

We are looking for team members who are passionate about delighting customers, want to grow their career, and can be relied on to support our teams – sometimes at short notice. Previous warehouse or labour-related experience is helpful, but we are also interested in speaking with people starting their career and willing to learn new skills.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in Warehousing and Distribution Environment
  • LO licence required; other licences are a bonus
  • WHS knowledge
  • Inbound/Receiving knowledge
  • RF systems knowledge
  • Sound written and verbal communication skills
  • Sound numerical skills
  • Available to work full-time 5 days a week – Monday to Friday, 7am to 3pm
  • Physically fit and able to handle heavy furniture
  • Team-oriented mindset
  • OK with working at heights
