Personal Care Assistant Trainee

About the Role:

As a Personal Care Assistant Trainee, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others through small moments that leave big impacts.

  • You will be responsible for providing care to clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.
  • You will complete scheduled visits on the road, interacting one-on-one with clients in their homes and supporting them with daily activities.
  • You will support clients according to their individualised Care Plan.
  • You will assist with community-based recreational and social activities.
  • You will provide transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing in-home personal care, including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
  • Completing scheduled visits on the road, interacting one-on-one with clients in their homes and supporting them with daily activities.
Requirements:
  • A current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
  • A roadworthy and insured (Third Party Property minimum) vehicle for work.
  • Experience with technology including smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc.
  • The ability to satisfy relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies.
