Job Description

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at Civeo. This role is responsible for providing high-quality and well-maintained accommodation/facilities to our customers and clients. The Facilities Manager will lead and supervise the Facilities Team to ensure a consistent, quality groundskeeping service, including non-technical maintenance work, grounds maintenance, and garbage collection.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

  • Promote team performance in line with Civeo operational objectives.
  • Manage and motivate Facilities staff, establishing an open, values-based culture.
  • Ensure open communication between Facilities and other village teams to provide excellent, timely, and high-standard service.
  • Develop rosters and staffing structures to ensure sufficient staff availability at appropriate skill levels.
  • Promote a safety culture by providing information, training, instruction, and supervision in managing workplace risks.
  • Ensure compliance with all standard operating procedures from both company and statutory perspectives.
  • Oversee and complete all minor maintenance (non-trade).
  • Formulate and execute site-based waste management plans and grounds management plans.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are adequately maintained and controlled.
  • Maintain all agreed health, safety, quality, and environmental accreditations.

Knowledge, Skills, And Experience
  • Relevant trade qualifications.
  • LF Forklift Licence .
  • Manual Drivers License , Class C.
  • At least 3 years' experience in Facilities Management in a service, hospitality, or similar industry.
  • Leading and motivating teams.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety systems and compliance.
  • Ability to coordinate purchasing, financial, budgetary, and maintenance requirements.
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (e.g., JDE).
  • Sound knowledge of horticultural practices and processes.
  • High level of general physical fitness and strength.
  • Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Office suite.
  • Good knowledge of relevant chemicals, their storage, and application.
