Overview

APM is continuing its impactful work with the Transition to Work contract. We are seeking a Youth Support Worker in our Ryde, NSW office who is passionate about making a real difference in the lives of young people.

As a Youth Support Worker, you will be assessing the needs of participants, identifying barriers to employment, and providing solutions-focused approaches to support young people to achieve ongoing education and/or employment.

Secure a start and contribute to meaningful change for you and our participants.

Responsibilities
  • Assess the needs of participants, identify barriers to employment, and provide solutions-focused approaches to support young people to achieve ongoing education and/or employment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to maximise job opportunities for participants.
  • Support colleagues to achieve great results and make a difference, together.

Qualifications / To be considered
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
  • A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Willing to complete a Criminal History Check
  • Able to pass a Working with Children Check
  • Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday — 8:30am to 5:00pm
