We are seeking applications for a highly capable and values-driven individual to join our dynamic team at Dental Health Services (DHS).
This is for a Fixed Term Full Time appointment until 31 December 2027.
Pursuant of Section 50(d) of the Equal Opportunity Act 1984, the occupant of this position must be of Aboriginal descent.
What is our Aboriginal Health Worker (50D) role?
As part of a team, this position provides culturally appropriate dental health care for clients with a Primary Health Care focus promoting oral health care, and assisting in the provision of fluoride varnish and silver fluoride applications, oral health education and community oral health promotion.

About Dental Health Services (DHS)
DHS is part of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) and is the largest public dental health services provider in WA, operating state-wide from a network of fixed and mobile clinics, funded by the WA Government. DHS provides the School Dental Service for children aged 5-16 years, General Dental Services to eligible adults with a current health care card or pension concession card, Subsidy Schemes and Special Dental Services.

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
