Overview

Business Development Manager/Director – Wind & Battery Projects. Our client is a well-established national civil contractor looking for an experienced Business Development Manager/Director or similar to join their growing Melbourne team and to win and deliver onshore wind and battery projects.

The candidate will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects across industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining, resources, transport infrastructure, and environmental sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Working on tenders
  • Coordination of bids
  • Negotiation of contracts
  • Networking
  • Recruitment and mentoring of teams
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
  • 10+ years' management experience on wind and battery construction projects
  • Project management qualifications will be advantageous
  • Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
  • Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
  • Effective problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
