Your duties will include overseeing the department's budget, ensuring that the construction business fulfills its contractual obligations while delivering exemplary construction and project management services to our clients, all to maximize profitability. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a forward-thinking vision, you will cultivate and promote a robust safety culture at Vestas, leading initiatives in the following key areas.Vestas Australian Wind Tech>Customer Project Execution - ANZ>Portfolio 1 Responsibilities:Broad Project ManagementSite liaison and directionClient relationship development and managementSubcontractor managementProject risk managementOverall accountability for safety compliance at project levelQualification:Demonstrated Wind & Solar experience is desiredA relevant Engineering degree qualificationCertification in a relevant field: PRINCE2, PMP, Six Sigma,PMI or similarGood computer literacyCompetencies:Significant experience in Project managing EPC projects within a major infrastructure environmentExperience in managing of wind farm construction projects a significant plusProven performance in working in teams and achieving resultsSolid communications skills (verbal, active listening, written, meeting management, presentation)Experience in Contract & Claim management, risk management, negotiations, stakeholder managementDemonstrated ability to set and coordinate budgets and resourcesStrong negotiation skills and technique with both clients and sub contractorsExcellent communication and ability to build & nurture relationships with stakeholdersWhat we offer:A strong safety cultureDynamic and fast paced work environment An opportunity to work with the world leader in wind energy.
