Your Tasks And Core Responsibilities

As part of a growing multidisciplinary project team, you will undertake tasks including:

Project Management of renewable projects

• Work on a portfolio of onshore wind and hybrid projects in Australia and globally, delivering services along the entire project lifecycle
• Manage and support diverse technical and commercial advisory services, including owners engineering from early stage through construction and O&M, feasibility and desktop studies, and strategic advisory
• Develop practical solutions to multifaceted problems
• Manage complex, multidisciplinary projects and communicate with clients in onshore wind / hybrid projects
• Support clients to successfully deliver offshore wind projects in Australia and globally
• Contribute to technical spearhead topics (design and engineering) and improvements applicable to the Australian market
• Contract management on behalf of client and internally

Business development

• Support and lead various business development and tender activities
• Have good knowledge of Ramboll's services to present to clients
• Leverage internal expertise to deliver successful projects and client satisfaction
• Identify partners and contractors to complement offerings; identify candidates to grow the onshore wind team in Australia
• Report to the Head of Wind for Australia

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of engineering / project management experience in onshore renewable energies (wind, solar, BESS)
• Proven track record, industry reputation and network in Australia
• Experience in developing and managing a team in Australia
• Part of a project team for recently executed onshore wind projects
• Thorough understanding of onshore renewable project development, interfaces, design and engineering, project economics, risks and commercial aspects
• Strong knowledge of Australian standards, supply chain, grid and construction challenges
• Basic technical expertise across core areas of an onshore wind farm / solar / BESS; subject matter expertise of benefit
• Experience negotiating and executing complex construction contracts (EPCI and BoP) would be beneficial
• Flexibility and adaptability in day-to-day tasks; proactive in proposing innovative and optimized solutions
• Ability to identify resource needs on projects and develop a strong local team
