We will offer over 40 market-leading brands, supported by two manufacturing sites, five distribution centers, and more than 1500 Suntorians.
This senior manager role will be part of the Oceania supply chain management team, leading Supply and Logistics for the Domestic business and Logistics and Customer Service for the Travel Retail business unit.
The Snr Supply & Fulfillment Manager will work with stakeholders including manufacturing, third-party logistics providers, and global teams.
This role is ideal for a supply chain professional experienced in domestic and international Freight Management, Warehousing, Customer Service, Project Management, and Inventory Management.
The position reports to the Supply Chain Fulfillment Director – Oceania and is responsible for executing the supply and fulfillment strategy, leading a team of direct reports, and contributing to the enterprise transformation project "Suntory Oceania".
Role Responsibilities
- Manage logistics and supply operations for Oceania Domestic and Travel Retail
- Optimize supply chain network, reduce costs, and improve cash flow
- Manage third-party logistics providers and contracts
- Coordinate supply planning, inventory management, and interface with manufacturing and logistics teams
- Maintain operational cadences, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Manage budgets and reporting for supply chain activities
- Achieve KPIs related to customer service, costs, inventory, and working capital
- Lead supply chain improvement projects and tender processes
- Oversee key functional tasks and develop IT solutions to improve processes
- Lead, motivate, and manage the supply and fulfillment team
- Represent Suntory Global Spirits in local supply and logistics programs
- Handle customs, excise, and tax compliance in collaboration with finance teams
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of supply chain management experience, including Freight, Warehousing, Customer Service, and Supply Planning
- FMCG/Beverage experience preferred but not essential
- Relevant tertiary qualification desirable
- Project management experience required
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving and business case development skills
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, domestically and internationally
- Based in Sydney
