Job Description

Village Chefs in Central Regional QLD on 14:7 Roster

Join our community and continue your career as a Chef with Civeo. Work in one of our villages on a permanent basis and find the lifestyle that works for you. Our QLD villages are located in: Coppabella, Dysart, Middlemount, Moranbah, Nebo, and Blackwater.

  • Travel to one of our villages via free bus service from Mackay, self-transportation from a nearby town, or potential flights from Brisbane (BIBO/DIDO/FIFO)
  • Cook alongside our supportive team for a village of 150-3000 people (bulk cooking on day/night shifts)
  • Work a 14:7 roster (two weeks living/working on site, 10.5-hour days, and one week home for what matters most)

  • SALARY of $90k-$120k + 12% Superannuation (paid on all rostered hours)
  • ANNUAL LEAVE of 5 Weeks (+ your week off at the end of each rotation)
  • ANNUAL BONUS of $17k (paid quarterly)
  • FREE Food (catering for all preferences/allergies/intolerances)

Role

You
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or validated equivalent - evidence required)
  • Experience in high-volume, bulk/batch cooking, fast-paced kitchens
  • Valid working rights in Australia for the next 12 months (sponsorship NOT available)
  • National Police Clearance (within last 6 months)
  • Current Driver's Licence
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including alcohol and drug screening
