Chefs Wanted

We are seeking experienced chefs to join our culinary team. As a chef with our organization, you will have the opportunity to work in one of our villages on a permanent basis and enjoy a unique lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Travel to our village via free bus service from Mackay or self-transportation from a nearby town, or potential flights from Brisbane.
  • Cook alongside our supportive team for a village of 150-3000 people (bulk cooking on day/night shifts).
  • Work a 14:7 roster (two weeks living/working on site, 10.5-hour days, and one week home for what matters most).
Main Benefits:
  • Salary of $90k-$120k + 12% Superannuation (paid on all rostered hours).
  • Annual Leave of 5 Weeks (+ your week off at the end of each rotation).
  • Annual Bonus of $17k (paid quarterly).

Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or validated equivalent - evidence required).
  • Experience in high-volume, bulk/batch cooking, fast-paced kitchens.
  • Valid working rights in Australia for the next 12 months (sponsorship NOT available).
  • National Police Clearance (within last 6 months).
  • Current Driver's Licence.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including alcohol and drug screening.
