Senior Financial Accountant / Perth CBD / Permanent Position / $130,000 - $140,000 / Development / Progression / Excellent Benefits

Core Talent are recruiting a Senior Financial Accountant on behalf of a leading service business based in their luxury offices within Perth CBD. The Financial Accountant will be responsible for monitoring the financial transactions of national branded business, whilst working with a Financial Controller who has an excellent track record of developing and supporting people.

The Senior Financial Accountant's key duties will include:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports aligned with AASB/IFRS
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments
  • Ensure compliance with BAS, GST, FBT, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations
  • Lead payroll processing and ensure alignment with relevant legislation and internal controls
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Deliver financial analysis and insights to support business and board-level decisions
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls, process documentation, and system improvements
  • Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance, CPA/CA qualified (or working towards)
  • 5+ years' experience in financial or management accounting
  • Strong knowledge of AASB and/or IFRS
  • Experience with NetSuite & Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail, with strong analytical and communication skills
  • A proactive and collaborative team player
