Position Details
Classroom Teacher (Fixed Term)

Applications are invited for a full-time, fixed-term early childhood Classroom Teacher (Year 2, 2025), with the potential for ongoing positions, from suitably qualified teachers to join St Lawrence's Primary School Bluff Point in Week 4, Term 2, 2025.

The successful applicant must be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education, have demonstrated excellence in teaching and be passionate about students' learning and development.

Selection Criteria

Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in the following areas:

  1. Be fully supportive of the objectives and ethos of Catholic education
  2. Demonstrate an understanding of the Five Teacher Practices:
    1. Quality relationships
    2. Learning design
    3. Instructional range
    4. Engagement
    5. Place, space and technology
  3. An ability to collect, analyse and engage with student data to inform teaching and learning
  4. Demonstrate the capability to work cooperatively and collaboratively and a willingness to participate in reflective practice
  5. Have appropriate early childhood teaching qualifications, with knowledge of NQS, EYLF and play-based education
Qualifications Required
  1. Have appropriate ECE qualifications
  2. Have or be willing to obtain the necessary Accreditation requirements
  3. Have a current Working with Children Card
  4. A current TRBWA registration
