About the Role
Reporting directly to our National Sales Manager, you will take ownership of sales growth in the QLD region, ideally based in SEQ. You'll manage and grow relationships with our existing customers, while actively seeking and converting new business opportunities. This role combines strategic relationship-building with hands-on selling, and includes both face-to-face engagement and remote communication.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales growth across the QLD market.

Face-to-face sales visits with trade, retail, and project-based clients.

Develop strong, lasting relationships with existing customers through regular contact, support, and follow-up.

Manage incoming phone and email enquiries and communicate with our office based sales team to ensure fast and accurate quotes and service

Identify and convert new business opportunities through outbound calls, prospect meetings, and networking.

Provide accurate product knowledge, technical information, and solution-based recommendations.

Work closely with marketing and product teams to support sales initiatives.

Attend trade events, exhibitions, and networking functions as required.

Maintain accurate records in our CRM and follow through on all leads and opportunities.

Skills & Experience

Proven success in sales and relationship management (lighting industry experience highly regarded but not essential).

Experience selling via trade, retail or project channels.

Experience in construction, electrical, or building materials industries welcomed.

Strong communication and persuasive skills with the ability to engage decision-makers.

Confidence in both in-person and phone-based sales approaches.

Excellent written and verbal English skills.

High levels of self-motivation, organisation, and accountability.

Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.

Ability to work independently while being a strong team contributor.

Proficiency with basic computer applications and CRM systems.

A passion for exceeding targets and delivering results.
