Now Careers is exclusively partnering with our client, a reputable Mid Tier Commercial Contractor operating across the Eastern Seaboard, to secure a Construction Manager to join the team in QLD.

The Opportunity

The opportunity exists for a Construction Manager to join the established and high-performing team in QLD, with the head office located in Brisbane. This role reports to the QLD State Manager and involves overseeing project delivery teams. The client delivers projects across Fit Out, Refurbishment, and New Build spaces, with a proven track record in the Retail, Industrial, Commercial, Hospitality, and Institutional sectors.

Ideal Experience / Qualifications

  • 10+ years in commercial construction working for the head contractor
  • Industry-relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Experience in leading teams and driving performance
  • Exposure to project delivery and financials
  • Strong programming skills
  • Stakeholder management and engagement
  • Strong relationships with subcontractors and consultants
  • Proven track record in a similar role or experience as a SPM seeking career development
