About the role

An exciting opportunity awaits personal care workers to join the team.

As a personal care worker, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with their daily living activities. You will provide personal care, domestic assistance, companionship, transportation, and promote independence for our older persons.

Personal care workers play a vital role in the lives of the older persons by providing quality, responsive, and compassionate care that supports trusted and long-term relationships with our clients.

About you

To be successful, you must :

  • Have previous experience working in aged care or personal care (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time
  • Follow policies and procedures at all times
  • Work with culturally and linguistically diverse communities and individuals

Role requirements

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Home and Community Care, Aged Care, Health Care, Services Assistant, Diploma of Nursing, or equivalent qualification
  • A current minimum P1 "C" class Queensland driver's license
  • A roadworthy, registered, and comprehensively insured car
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or the ability to obtain)
  • Current nationally recognized First Aid and CPR certificates (or the ability to obtain)
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module 'Quality, Safety & You' certificate
  • Current immunization history statement
