In this pivotal role, you'll take charge of the governance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Council's corporate, customer, and community technology applications.
You'll ensure systems are fit-for-purpose, secure, and delivering real value—while building strong relationships with stakeholders, vendors, and your team.
You'll be at the centre of application strategy, governance, and delivery, working closely with senior leaders, technology teams, and vendors to deliver seamless, secure, and effective technology outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities Manage operational and project budgets, ensure value for money in planning, respond to audits, and mitigate financial risks.
Understand customer requirements, identify application performance risks and opportunities, and contribute to Council's strategic planning.
Deliver high-quality outcomes, build trusted relationships, negotiate priorities, and resolve conflicts early.
Set clear standards, develop team capability, recognise achievements, and ensure alignment with Council's values.
Maintain accurate application profiles and configurations, ensure systems are secure, licensed, and fit-for-purpose, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
About You 5-7 years of experience leading IT applications in complex environments.
Strong vendor and contract management expertise.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Proven financial management and strategic planning ability.
Experience with ERP applications (Technology One preferred).
