The Role Working closely with our Engineering Manager and senior model engineers, you'll be a Junior AI Model Engineer on the Model Platform team.
This role is a deep dive into the core of our AI.
Your mission is to support the team in experimenting with, fine-tuning, and analysing our language models.
This is an incredible opportunity for a candidate with a strong theoretical background to gain hands-on experience in solving the hardest technical challenges at the heart of our product.
What you'll do: Assist in Model Experiments: Support the design and execution of experiments for model fine-tuning (SFT, RLFT) and other adaptation techniques.
Data Preparation & Analysis: Help prepare and curate high-quality datasets for training and evaluation, and assist in analysing experiment results.
Implement Model Components: Write code for specific parts of the training and inference pipeline under the guidance of senior engineers.
Contribute to Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest research papers and help the team explore novel techniques for improving model performance.
What we will look for: You have a very strong academic background in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
You possess a solid foundation in Python and a deep understanding of machine learning fundamentals, probability, and statistics.
You have foundational knowledge of deep learning frameworks like Py Torch or Tensor Flow.
You have a powerful sense of curiosity, a passion for solving complex technical puzzles, and an eagerness to learn from a world-class team.
Bonus: Internship or research experience in AI.
Familiarity with transformer architectures.
A completed or in-progress Master's degree or Ph D.
