The Role

We're seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead our AI infrastructure and scale our video processing capabilities. You'll own our ML pipeline from model development to production deployment, ensuring we can handle growing user demand while maintaining performance and reliability.

Key ResponsibilitiesML Systems & Infrastructure

• Scale our video processing pipeline to handle increasing user load
• Optimize model inference for real-time performance requirements
• Build reliable deployment systems for computer vision models
• Implement monitoring and observability for ML systems in production
• Collaborate with backend team on API integration and data flow

Model Development & Optimization

• Improve accuracy and performance of sports video analysis models
• Work with pose estimation, object tracking, and action recognition
• Optimize models for production constraints (memory, latency, cost)
• Implement A/B testing frameworks for model improvements
• Stay current with relevant ML/CV research and best practices

Production Engineering

• Build scalable data pipelines for video processing
• Implement proper error handling, retry logic, and fault tolerance
• Optimize resource usage and manage infrastructure costs
• Ensure security and compliance for user-uploaded content
• Work with DevOps practices including CI/CD and automated testing

What We're Looking ForRequired Experience

• 4+ years of machine learning engineering experience with production systems
• Computer vision expertise with frameworks like PyTorch/TensorFlow, OpenCV
• Production ML deployment experience (model serving, scaling, monitoring)
• Video/image processing background preferred
• Python proficiency and experience with ML infrastructure tools

Technical Skills

• Experience with model optimization techniques (quantization, pruning, etc.)
• Cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and containerization (Docker)
• Database systems and caching strategies
• API development and integration
• Understanding of distributed systems concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with sports analytics or motion analysis
• Background in real-time video processing systems
• Knowledge of edge deployment or resource-constrained environments
• Experience scaling ML systems from prototype to production
• Familiarity with modern ML deployment tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, etc.)
