About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide strategic workplace safety, health and injury management direction and advice to senior executives, senior managers, line managers and employees at West Moreton Health.
This role is responsible for the operational management of the Safety and Injury Management unit and for fostering a strong working partnership between the Work Safety and Injury Management team with the broader People and Culture team and the managers and employees of the Health Service.

Your high level ability to successfully lead an organisation's work health and safety strategy, governance and program of work to achieve a measurable and enduring impact on organisational capability and performance and ensure compliance with legislative and other requirements.
Your proven conceptual, analytical, technical and innovative problem solving skills that result in client focused solutions and achieving business outcomes.
Your organisational change management experience, including your ability to consult, negotiate and influence positive outcomes in a complex environment of organisational transformation and performance accountability.
Your highly developed leadership and managerial capability, including the ability to manage a high performing team and to ensure resources are optimally allocated to meet defined goals.
Your contemporary and professional knowledge across the areas of safety, wellbeing, ergonomics, rehabilitation and risk management.
Your business management and corporate performance management capability, including the ability to analyse, interpret and report data, and design a program of work to improve performance.
