Our Maintenance team in Smithton is looking for an experienced & passionate Maintenance Manager to provide strategic leadership to the onsite maintenance team to plan and implement the global maintenance strategy.
You will cover day-to-day maintenance engineering issues, defect elimination, risk management and life cycle asset management aspects of reliability engineering best practices.
This role is an integral member of a cross functional site leadership team and will see you contribute to the implementation of capital projects.
Support and promote continuous improvement across the organisation Ensure plant and equipment comply with standards and legislation Contribute to and support implementation of Mc Cain Foods Safety Plans Define annual maintenance needs for budget planning Ensure equipment and operations meet environmental standards Promote safety awareness among employees and contractors Provide input on site projects and ensure safe labour allocation Leadership Principles.

About you.
Degree qualified in a related field or a minimum of trade certificate in mechanical/electrical.
A minimum of 5 years management experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills Confident in independent decision-making and timely issue resolution Effective workload organisation and time management Proactive problem-solving and continuous improvement mindset Ability to prepare and manage multi-million-dollar budgets Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP systems The Mc Cain experience.
