The Role
Reporting to the Marketing and
Engagement Coordinator and based in Windsor NSW, the role is responsible for the day-to-day management
and long term development and implementation of a Strategy which promotes
Council's corporate, community, civic, cultural, events, tourism and business
activities to raise the organisation's profile in the community.
To manage
general public relations, communication and media relations between Council and
the community.
About You
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual with
exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
The ideal candidate will
possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with a
demonstrated capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
A
self-starter who excels both independently and in a collaborative team setting,
maintaining a professional and enthusiastic attitude.
Essential Criteria

Tertiary qualifications in Communications,
Public Relations or related field.
Experience with dealing with the media
Experience in editorial support tasks such as
proofing of advertising, reports, graphic design and presentations.
Highly developed verbal and written
communication skills
The right to live and work in Australia
Class C Drivers Licence
Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Successful applicants will be required to
undergo background (police) checks and medical declaration
