About the Role Facilities Manager St Aloysius' College is seeking to appoint an experienced and proactive Facilities Manager to lead the Facilities Department in the strategic and operational management and maintenance of the College's diverse property portfolio.
This includes the Senior and Junior School Campuses at Milsons Point, St Aloysius College Rozelle, and the College Oval at Willoughby.
Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, the Facilities Manager will provide strong leadership and oversight of the Facilities Team, ensuring operational excellence, compliance with legislative requirements, and the delivery of high-quality maintenance and project outcomes.
The role encompasses strategic planning, contractor and asset management, capital works oversight, WHS leadership, and the efficient allocation of resources to support the College's mission and strategic priorities.
This is a full-time ongoing position requiring a dynamic and organised professional with proven leadership experience in facilities management and a commitment to service excellence.

Your Application The successful candidate will demonstrate: Commitment to the mission of Catholic education of boys in the Jesuit tradition; Relevant tertiary qualifications in facilities, property, or asset management (or a related discipline), and/or extensive industry experience; Minimum five years' experience in the management of infrastructure (building and maintenance), and operational services; Demonstrated experience in financial administration and budget management, both recurrent and capital; Demonstrated experience in the knowledge and application of Australian legislative and regulatory requirements, particularly Building Codes and Standards, and Work, Health and Safety; Strong knowledge and proven leadership of building maintenance, contractor management and project delivery, preferably in a school or similar environment; Proven leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead and mentor staff toward a shared mission and measurable outcomes; Highly developed organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; Demonstrates a strong commitment to service excellence, ensuring stakeholder satisfaction through proactive communication and timely resolution of issues; Demonstrated a commitment to ensuring a safe work environment; Possess, or willing to obtain a valid Working with Children Check.
