How You'll Make an Impact Our GM People Experience (PX) Partnering will serve as both a direct Business Partner to senior leaders and a leader of teams providing Business Partnering and Advisory services across the business.
You will report directly to the EGM of Partnering and Organisational Development, playing an important role in developing, embedding, and delivering our global People strategy.

Responsibilities include: Providing strategic Business Partner support to XLT members and leading the Business Partners supporting your XLT members' functions and leadership teams.
Offering guidance to the Chief Product and Technology Officer and regional leaders on regional issues affecting the Southern Hemisphere, especially Australia and New Zealand.
Collaborating with other GMs of PX Partnering to ensure alignment and a 'one team' approach across all Partnering functions, driving strategic business partnering objectives, and delivering impactful people programs aligned with the global strategy.
Working seamlessly with PX Center of Excellence teams (OD, Remuneration, Workplace) across global locations.
Identifying skills and development opportunities within your team to demonstrate or role model our PX Capability Framework.
Serving as a trusted advisor to your XLT members, providing support on talent management, organizational design, restructures, and more.
Supporting complex ER issues and ensuring compliance with employment legislation, partnering with legal as needed.
Using data to analyze trends and develop solutions, programs, and policies.
Working with Talent teams to meet recruitment priorities and drive workforce planning.
Ensuring relevant and timely programs/resources are developed in partnership with COEs.
Building a positive employee experience that empowers and improves business performance.
Testing, experimenting, and improving PX work practices in line with team evolutions.
Supporting the Chief People Officer and EGM as needed.
Proactively managing risks and compliance obligations.
Success Looks Like The reputation of the People function at Xero is highly credible, strategic, and efficient.
Strong relationships with stakeholders, team members, and peers are maintained.
You are a trusted advisor to your XLT members and leadership team.
Your team is highly engaged, collaborative, and aligned with PX objectives.

Experience Leadership roles in HR within fast-paced, high-performing organizations; developing people strategies; leading teams; deep HR discipline knowledge; coaching senior stakeholders; degree or equivalent experience.
