We run three streams of events - Investments, Practice Management, and Community.
Designed to educate, inspire, and connect advisers with ideas that move the profession forward.
About the Role: We are seeking someone to lead the growth and engagement across our adviser network in New South Wales.
You will be responsible for bringing new practices into the insiders community and membership program, attendance across our national flagship events, and representing The Inside Network in the market.
This is a relationship-led, outward-facing role that would suit someone with experience in financial advice, business development, or practice management - particularly someone who is passionate about helping advisers succeed.
Key Responsibilities1.
Adviser Community Growth Build and maintain meaningful relationships with senior advisers, practice managers, licensee heads, and key industry stakeholders Drive the expansion of insiders membership by identifying and engaging high-potential advisory practices aligned with our values and community vision.
Lead outreach and engagement initiatives to communicate the value and benefits of the membership and event program - fostering meaningful long-term connections.2.
Delegate acquisition for events Drive delegate registrations to our symposiums, forums, and CPD-accredited events across investment, practice development and community events.
Collaborate with our community, content and data teams to implement marketing outreach, personalised campaigns and social media.3.
Local market leadership Be the NSW-based face of The Inside Network.
Support national initiatives and travel to major events across Australia, while also helping shape strategy for growth with other state managers across, VIC, SA, WA and ASIA.
Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities and concepts that align with market needs and The Inside Network's ethos.4.
Support Business Development Assist with identifying and onboarding new clients across BIG (Brilliants Investment Group).
This includes, Investment Consulting, Brand & Design, Digital and PR)Help secure event sponsorships from asset managers, platforms, and aligned service providers.5.
Salesforce & Operational management Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all members and delegates in Salesforce and other CRM platforms (e.g.
Monday.com)Collaborate with colleagues to input, track, and manage lead and delegate information effectively Generate and share regular reports on leads, pipeline opportunities, and event performance Work as part of an integrated team to support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making across platforms6.
General Engagement and travel Chair or host select events across the calendar year.
Support community-focused initiatives including mentoring programs, content contributions across The Inside Network's publications and networking events.
Travel interstate and offshore to attend team meetings and major forums.
What you'll bring: A background in financial planning, practice management, licensee services, or funds management distribution is preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – you're equally confident in one-on-one conversations and presenting to a room of advisers or the teams.
Experience in sales, account management, or community engagement roles.
Understanding of the Australian financial advice ecosystem and how practices operate.
A proactive, collaborative mindset and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
