Job Description The Corporate Accountant will be required to roll up their sleeves, getting involved with the following tasks/duties.
Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Manage general ledger reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Oversee tax compliance, including BAS preparation and lodgement.
Provide support for audits, working closely with external auditors.
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities, including variance analysis.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency within the finance function.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial alignment across departments.
The Successful Applicant A Successful Corporate Accountant Should Have A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
CA/CPA qualified or currently completing Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards and tax regulations.
Experience with an ERPDemonstrated experience in financial reporting and compliance.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently.
