We are seeking a Director of Supply Chain Network Capacity & Material Flow to lead the design, optimization, and future-proofing of our global supply chain network.
This high-impact role is responsible for building a resilient, data-driven supply chain that ensures agility, scalability, and operational excellence.
This is a new role as a part of our Supply Chain transformation.
We are open to a base location of Singapore, Sydney or San Deigo region.

Let's Talk About Role and Responsibilities: Network Strategy & Capacity Optimization Develop and execute a global supply chain network strategy to support business growth and evolving market needs.
Ensure network and asset capacity planning aligns with demand while optimizing asset utilization and capital deployment.
Design scalable and agile supply chain models to improve inventory placement, service levels, and cost efficiency.
Utilize data analytics and flow modeling to anticipate capacity constraints and proactively mitigate risks.
Advise on optimal locations and scopes for supply, manufacturing, and distribution nodes to enhance network resilience.
Industrial Engineering & Flow Modeling Lead the development of advanced flow modeling to optimize material and product movement across the global network.
Implement dynamic simulation models to assess bottlenecks, utilization, and efficiency improvement opportunities.
Partner with supply, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure seamless end-to-end product movement.
Logistics & Intralogistics Engineering Design and implement best-in-class logistics infrastructure, including warehouse automation, transportation networks, and fulfillment hubs.
Optimize intralogistics within warehouses, manufacturing, and distribution centers to enhance operational efficiency using technology-driven solutions.
Resilience & Risk Mitigation Build a resilient supply chain network by implementing risk mitigation strategies against disruptions such as geopolitical shifts and demand surges.
Establish redundancy and contingency plans for key supply chain nodes to ensure business continuity.
Monitor and assess external market factors to proactively adapt supply chain strategies.
Distribution Engineering & Scalability Engineer efficient and scalable global distribution models to optimize delivery speed and cost.
Enhance cross-border logistics capabilities and compliance frameworks to support seamless international product flow.
Implement solutions to improve reverse logistics and circular supply chain efficiencies.
Leadership & Collaboration Lead a high-performing team of supply chain and industrial engineers, partnering with data scientists and logistics experts.
Foster strong cross-functional partnerships with supply, manufacturing, planning, IT, distribution, and commercial teams.
Drive a culture of collaboration, innovation, agility, and operational excellence across the supply chain network.
Let's Talk About Skills and Qualifications Educational Background: Bachelor's or master's degree in Industrial Engineering , Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience: 10+ years of experience in supply chain network design, logistics engineering, or industrial engineering.
Scalable Supply Chain Models: Expertise in designing scalable and agile supply chain models to enhance efficiency and network capacity.
Experience in network design, capacity planning, and inventory optimization.
Data Analytics & Flow Modeling : Strong background in leveraging data analytics and flow modeling to optimize material flow and supply chain performance.
Hands-on experience with network simulation tools, predictive analytics, and optimization algorithms.
Supply, Manufacturing & Logistics: Proven track record in supply chain network design and planning, particularly within manufacturing and logistics environments.
Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, including sourcing, production, distribution, and fulfillment.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to work cross-functionally with key stakeholders, including supply, manufacturing, planning, IT, and distribution teams.
Strong communication and influencing skills to align supply chain strategies with broader business objectives.
Leadership & Change Management: Experience building and leading high-performing teams in complex, global supply chain environments.
Proven ability to drive large-scale transformation initiatives that enhance supply chain agility and operational resilience.
Success Metrics Development and execution of a world-class, scalable, reliable, and future-ready supply chain network.
Improved availability, asset utilization, and predictable capital deployment while reducing end-to-end costs through optimized network design.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
At Resmed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position in the United States is: $175,000 - $265,000 USD.
