The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Reporting Accountant to join our Finance team.
This role plays a key part in delivering accurate and timely financial reporting across all gaming, non-gaming, and support services business units.
This role is a key part of our wider Melbourne finance team and offers great learning exposure and a genuine career progression path.
You will be responsible for: Preparing accurate financial reports, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
Supporting month-end close processes and variance analysis across business units.
Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting.
Identifying and implementing process improvements and automation opportunities.
Collaborating with finance business partners and stakeholders to ensure consistency and accuracy.
About You This role is ideal for a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and is passionate about continuous improvement.
Ideally you will have experience working in a large complex organisation and be able to navigate intricate problems.
You will also bring: A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with CPA/CA qualification (or in progress).
Approximately 3 years of practical accounting experience in a similar role.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data.
Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with systems such as Peoplesoft, Opera, and Progen.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a team-first mindset.
