About the role : The Senior Project Officer sits within the Digital Resources team and contributes to the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) program area, including creating evidence-based and family-friendly digital resources to support Victorian families and the Victorian MCH Service.
Responsibilities include: Reviewing, revising, and transitioning MCH printed resources into digital formats, including developing a digital version of the My Health, Learning and Development "Green" Book for every new Victorian baby as a personal health record.
Ensuring digital resources remain fit-for-purpose for use by the clinical MCH workforce, Victorian parents, carers, and families.
Creating and managing a central repository of approved MCH and parenting digital resources, aligned with national and Victorian parenting websites, with evidence-based content.
Contributing to interdepartmental initiatives to improve access to digital tools and information supporting Victorian families in early years.
The role requires attention to detail, strong project management and communication skills, and teamwork to meet tight deadlines.

Accountabilities : Contributing to high-priority, complex projects within the Maternal and Child Health and Early Parenting Unit, including resource review and reform.
Applying best-practice project management techniques, including reporting, stakeholder engagement, and risk management.
Gathering expert advice for developing user-friendly parent-facing resources.
Developing briefs on complex issues with options for decision-making.
Negotiating with internal and external stakeholders to secure commitment and meet project timelines.
Representing the work area with external stakeholders and managing feedback effectively.
Maintaining accurate records in accordance with legislative and departmental policies.
